Did this happen to you when you first set up your UTIPS account?
"I was wondering if I can change my title. I got lazy and didn't read as carefully towards the end, and well, now I have a stupid title. It makes my site a little confusing. Is there a way to change that after the fact? If you could let me know. I would appreciate that. Thanks again."
This happens a lot. The account set up IS a little confusing. When you are normally asked for your title, you respond with what you do - Teacher, Educator, Principal... etc. The title in UTIPS should be what your students usually refer to you as - to YOU, not to your back. :)

Let's say I have set up my account and put my dog's name in as my title:

I really don't want my students calling me Chili the Dog, so I need to change my title. To do this, you need to be logged in to your UTIPS account. Once you have logged in, hover your mouse over Profile, and choose Configure:

You should see a screen that looks like this:

Now under Title, enter in the title that you would like to use, something that you would be comfortable with your students calling you:

IMPORTANT! Make sure that you hit the Update button at the bottom of this window. If you don't, your title will remain the same.
Now, you should be taken back to your main window. Your title should be changed, and the world is now a better place.

Thanks for the question!

I created a new account because I changed my last name...and then I discovered how to change my name on the old account. Who do I need to contact to delete the extra account?
