Have you ever heard this when your students go to take a test, "Hey, this isn't you, IS IT???" or some other remark to this effect? I know that I have.
Follow the steps below to change that default teacher image to something that is more YOU. Click the Read More! link to continue.

This should take you no more than 2 minutes to change. Before we start, make sure that you have an image saved on your computer that you would like to use as your image on your UTIPS page.
Here are the steps:
- Go to UTIPS and log in. If you have forgotten your username/password, email me with your name and the school you are at and I can look it up for you.
Once you are logged in, hover your mouse over Profile and click on MyPage (see the image at right).
Click on the Media pop-down menu just beneath the "MyPage Configuration" heading in the blue bar and choose New.
Now, click the orange Select button beneath the File Upload icon.- Browse for the picture file on your computer by clicking on the Browse button. Once you have selected the picture, say Open. Click the Upload button to save that picture to the UTIPS server. You should see "Transferring" flashing across the screen while the image is being saved to the server.
- Last important step. You will be taken back to the My Page editing pane, with the picture that you have selected next to the Media menu. Click Update!, otherwise what you have just done will not be saved.
- To test that the change worked, click on the Teacher Zone text above in the UTIPS logo area. This will take you to your student page to make sure the image is there.
That's it! You should now never have to experience those comments again. All you will hear is how great of a picture that is!
Hopefully this work around will help with this problem. The problem comes in having UTIPS auto-resize the uploaded image. Thanks for letting us know about the problem!
