I got this question from a Washington Co. educator:
Can I stop students from just printing the test? Do I have this choice?
Sure. I had to ask around to some people who are much smarter than me (Thanks, Theresa!). You can change the test to a closed book format. With this format, the print button does not appear. Your students won't get the immediate feedback as they do with an open book test - they will answer a question and go on to the next without knowing if it is right or wrong. If you choose the "Allow student to see the full report" option, they will get that feedback at the end of the test.
To make this change, log into your UTIPS account and activate the test you want to make non-printable by clicking on it on the left hand side of the window. When the test shows up in the main part of the window, hover your mouse over "Test" in the UTIPS menu bar, and go down to "Edit" and click. The option that you are looking for is the first one underneath the name of the test. Click on the "Closed Book" radio button to disable the printing feature. If you want your students to get the feedback at the end of the test, go down to the 4th option down, and click the Yes button after "Allow student to see the full report." See the image below for more detail:

After you make these changes, remember to click the "Update" button at the bottom of this window to save your changes.
Hope this helps!
