Unfortunately, there will be no BootUp Camp this summer for the CyberCorps programs in the SEDC Region. In the current financial circumstances at SEDC, our schools, and the state of Utah there just isn't any funding to organize and host a large multi-day camp. As great as this program has been and as fun as it is to get together and geek out, we just can't justify the expense of the camp this year.

However, the news is not all bad. We are considering how to accomplish and provide several smaller Mini-Camps for those schools and districts that are still interested in running a CyberCorps program and would like some hands on training and experience for their students. These would probably take the form of a one-day intensive and hands-on experience for your students that we could schedule almost anytime during the summer.

We are just looking at what we can do and how it will all work, but please let us know if this is something that you would still be interested in participating. We will be in touch soon with more specific information on the Mini-Camps.

Thank you for all of the hard work and effort that has gone into supporting CyberCorps in your schools, and all of the schools in the SEDC region. We love working with you all, and have learned and grown from our shared experiences.
